We at Andrew Groves Consultancy are committed to making our site www.andrewgroves.com accessible to people with disabilities.
What web accessibility is
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse and use the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This is achieved through the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating and with the support of assistive technologies.
Accessibility adjustments on this site
The site aims to meet WCAG 2.2, Level AA. It is designed to support assistive technologies, including screen readers and keyboard navigation. As part of this effort, we have:
- Set the language of the site
- Ordered the content of pages clearly and logically
- Defined consistent heading structures across the site
- Added alternative text to informative images
- Used contrasting text and background colours
- Reduced the use of motion, including respecting reduced-motion settings
- Provided a skip-to-content link and visible keyboard focus indicators
The site has been checked on desktop and mobile screen sizes. It has not yet undergone a full accessibility audit or testing with a range of assistive technologies. Full conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA has not been established.
Known limitations
Some project images reproduce magazine spreads or other printed material. Text within these images is not selectable, and image descriptions do not reproduce complete articles. Please contact us if you need further information in a readable format.
The homepage displays a shortened Instagram caption, linking to the full post. Full essays open on Substack. These external websites have their own interfaces, which we do not control. Please contact us if you have difficulty accessing information about our work.
