About

I’m Professor of Fashion Design at the University of Westminster and Director of the Westminster Menswear Archive, the world’s only publicly accessible menswear archive.

My work sits at the intersection of academic research, curatorial practice, and industry consultancy. I specialise in menswear, material culture, and subcultural dress, using object-based research to shape how menswear is collected, understood, and applied.

I’ve curated landmark exhibitions including Invisible Men, Umbro 100: Sportswear x Fashion, and The Vanishing Art of Camouflage, and have worked with brands such as Alexander McQueen, C.P. Company, and Massimo Osti Studio.

My consultancy is defined by depth, precision, and outcome, delivering strategic insight for brands, archives, and cultural institutions.
